About the ATL Marathon 2020

The ATL Marathon is a national level innovation challenge, where schools identify community problems of their choice and develop innovative solutions in the form of working prototypes. The innovative solutions are recognized and presented at several national and international level platforms.

Being launched in the year where COVID-19 brought the world to a standstill, this year’s ATL Marathon will draw inspiration from Atmanirbhar Bharat and align itself with the 17 goals of “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” (SDG) adopted by all United Nation Member States. The ATL Marathon will rest on the five pillars of Atmanirbhar Bharat – Economy, Infrastructure, System, Demography, Demand.

Students will get a chance to vote on a problem statement under each of these pillars and finally work on a solution to the problem by building a prototype and implementing it. All solutions need to be backed by strong research work to truly grasp the brevity of the problem at hand.

Gratification

  • All students will get a participation certificate

  • Top 10 teams per district will be recognized including their teacher & mentor

  • Top 200-300 teams will get a chance to participate in Student Internship Programs with Atal Incubation Centres or AIM Corporate Partners

  • Schools that submit more than 25 innovations will receive special certificates for their teachers & mentors as well as be recognized by AIM on social media.
